House Officer

The House Officer is responsible for diagnosing and administering general medical treatment to patients in a hospital or through extension services at a clinic, school or clinic mobile or other designated place.

Hospital Attendant II

The Hospital Attendant II is responsible for performing a variety of functions in the hospital relating to the non-professional care of patients and supervises a small group of employees engaged in similar duties. Work involves giving directions to subordinates and monitoring their work activities.

Hospital Attendant I

The Hospital Attendant I is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks at the Sangre Grande Hospital/health centre/clinic in the non-professional care of patients, which entails the performance of general custodial duties.

Health Information Technician II

The Health Information Technician II is responsible for working with the Head of Department to ensure that proper medical record practices are maintained and that the Department’s health care information system facilitate the capturing and collating of data to provide information that is meaningful, accurate and timely.
