Responsible for administering all activities and functions relating to Mechanical Engineering and equipment maintenance, and providing guidance to Engineers in the Section.

Responsible for the effective and efficient development, coordination, and execution of relevant and appropriate training plans and programs for all employees in the North Central Regional Health Authority.

Responsible for developing and managing all Security related activities of the Authority and monitoring the personnel of outsourced Security Providers to ensure efficient, effective, and quality services.

Responsible for diagnosing and administering general medical treatment to patients in a hospital or through extension services at a Clinic, School, or Mobile Clinic. Performs under general supervision with professional consultation.

Responsible for the Quality Departments under the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC), St Joseph Enhanced Health Centre (SJEHC), and the Mount Hope Women’s Hospital (MHWH).

Responsible for performing and reporting on autopsies, grossing surgical specimens, acquiring information relevant to autopsy cases, histology, cytology specimens, proof-reading reports, assisting with daily functioning of autopsy and mortuary services, and participation in research activities.

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the activities of professional and other support staff engaged in the provision of procurement and disposal strategies and developing related programs and projects.

Responsible for coordinating the centralized system for the procurement and control of supplies, equipment, materials, and services utilized within the North-Central Regional Health Authority.

Responsible for ensuring that the Human Resource Planning, Organisational Development, and related information needs of the Authority are identified and addressed effectively on an ongoing basis.

Responsible for the planning, organizing, and coordinating the pharmacy operations specific to the Institution. This includes continuous development and implementation of policies and procedures for new and existing services.
