The Laundress I is responsible for performing a variety of simple manual tasks involving the washing, drying, ironing and folding of clothes, linens and other related material. Work is performed in accordance with the Authority’s Infection Control and Safety standards and assignments are received through a supervisor who makes periodic checks on work performed.

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of custodial duties in addition to routine unskilled laboratory tasks. Work involves cleaning the work area and sterilizing and maintaining the proper condition of laboratory equipment and supplies.

The Janitor is responsible for the cleaning and participating in the care and maintenance of assigned Authority’s public building and grounds.

The Human Resource Clerk is responsible for performing routine clerical tasks that follow well-established procedures, and unusual situations when encountered are brought to the attention of a senior officer for solution.

The Hospitality/Office Assistant is responsible for writing requisitions for the purpose of ordering supplies e.g. stationery, kitchen stock etc.

The Hospital Attendant II is responsible for performing a variety of functions in the hospital relating to the non-professional care of patients and supervises a small group of employees engaged in similar duties. Work involves giving directions to subordinates and monitoring their work activities.

The Hospital Attendant I is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks at the Sangre Grande Hospital/health centre/clinic in the non-professional care of patients, which entails the performance of general custodial duties.

The Health Information Clerk is responsible for performing routine clerical tasks that follow well- established procedures. Uncommon situations when encountered are brought to the attention of a senior officer for solution.

The Health Education Aide is responsible for the technical work in the field of Public Health Education in a generalized Public Health Education Program for the Authority.

The Handyman is responsible for the care and maintenance of grounds and executing minor repairs and maintenance of the building. The officer is also required to assist with the receipt, distribution and stocking of stores for the Facility.
