Farm Supervisor

Skilled work supervising cultivation, development, and maintenance activities on agricultural projects. An employee in this class is responsible for the direct supervision of skilled and unskilled workers engaged in agricultural development, maintenance, and cultivation activities. Duties involve scheduling, assigning, and overseeing their work, ensuring the proper handling and use of stores and equipment, and also demonstrating agricultural methods to students and trainees and supervising the maintenance of their plots and practical projects. The employee exercises some degree of independence within the framework of farm policy but work is reviewed by a superior for efficiency and adherence to programmes.
