The Registrar (Infectious Disease) is responsible for diagnosing and administering general medical treatment to patients in a hospital or through extension services at a Clinic or other designated area.

The Registrar (Accident and Emergency) is responsible for diagnosing and administering emergency medical treatment to patients in a hospital or through extension services at a Clinic or other designated area.

The Registrar (Cardiology) is responsible for diagnosing and administering general medical treatment to patients in a hospital or through extension services at a Clinic or other designated area.

The incumbent manages the Entomological Unit within the Insect Vector Control Division.

Responsible for the management and treatment of all respiratory diseases (surgical and medical) and Tuberculosis in Trinidad and Tobago, and the management of staff and inpatient facilities at the Caura Hospital.

Responsible for achieving the goals of the Unit, ensuring at least 24 renal transplants for the first two years and an increase of twenty percent annually thereafter.

Responsible for the implementation of programs and the delivery of a range of veterinary services at the Veterinary Hospital.

Directs healthcare delivery at secondary and tertiary levels, ensuring quality and efficient service provision.

Responsible for ensuring that all patients receive a high quality of medical care and the continuous provision of such care whilst at the Hospital.

Responsible for the Administration, Clinical and Registry Operations for the National Organ Transplant Unit.
