Developing and Implementation of records management programs, such as records retention schedules, disaster prevention and recovery program for vital records, electronic records management, productivity improvement though improved retrieval and access.

To be responsible for processing client’s requests and providing information/services to
members of the public.

To be responsible as the team leader for the people responsible for administering the citizen
interface process. This includes the supervision of the People Issues Interface Officers.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Regional Complex, providing services for a very diverse community.

Mobilization of communities as determined by the Minister of Culture and Community Development to improve participation in the Prime Minister’s Best Village Programme.

To assist the Best Village Unit in the organizing and promoting of the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional work in the field of socio-economic planning and analysis and will report to the Permanent Secretary.

The incumbent is required to develop Health and Safety Management Systems that would assess and monitor work place hazards in order to mitigate and control these hazards; co-ordinates, supports and advises stakeholders on Health and Safety activities; communicate, train, manage and monitor all aspects of Health and Safety at OPM-CAST.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Unit meets its obligations with respect to international and regional agreements.
