Responsible supervisory work in the field of environmental sanitation. An employee in this class is responsible for coordinating the activities of subordinates who supervise gangs of daily paid unskilled workers engaged in sanitation and scavenging activities in a County/Borough. Work includes detailing duties to, and supervising the work of sanitation workers including scavengers, public convenience workers, weeders, cutlass-men, drivers, checkers, and watchmen and supervising scavenging and related jobs given out on contract. Work may also include the supervision of subordinates engaged in the cleaning of cesspits and/or septic tanks. The employee is expected to exercise some initiative and independent judgement in the execution of his duties and work is reviewed by a superior officer through reports, inspections, and meetings to determine performance and adherence to instructions.

Manual work of limited skill in a Printery. An employee in this class recovers and reconditions used printing machine rollers. Work involves stripping covers from roller stock and melting ingredients to form moulding compound. Assignments are received verbally from a superior but work is performed independently by the employee in accordance with fixed procedures and standards. Work is reviewed by the superior for efficiency and production excellence by inspection whilst work is in progress and also on completion.

Responsible work in providing maid and caretaker services in a government rest house. An employee in this class provides caretaker services for guests and residents at a government rest house. Work includes the general care and cleaning of buildings and rooms, arranging for laundering of linen, and the care and custody of household supplies and preparation of meals for guests on request. The employee is expected to live on the premises. Work is performed with independence within prescribed rules and procedures and is reviewed by a superior officer for efficient provision of services through inspections and reports.

Responsible skilled and supervisory work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. An employee in this class is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of the activities of refrigeration foremen and other subordinate workers engaged in the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning/refrigeration equipment. Work includes the planning of daily work schedules of subordinates, investigating complaints, and assisting generally in the more difficult assignments.

Skilled and supervisory work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. An employee in this class performs skilled work in the supervision of technicians and unskilled workers engaged in the maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Work involves participating in the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, inspecting government facilities, and supervising a group of subordinates engaged in related work.

Skilled and supervisory work in the manufacture and repair of all types of prosthetic devices.

Routine work in patrolling an airport or dock in the enforcement of the Plant Quarantine Ordinance. An officer in this class is responsible for patrolling an airport or dock area to enforce the Plant Quarantine Ordinance. Work includes keeping a check on persons who may attempt to land with prohibited plants, fruits, and vegetables and the seizure and destruction of such items. Work is supervised by professional superior to ensure compliance with the relevant ordinance.

Routine field work in the prevention of plant diseases. An employee in this class is responsible for destroying insects and other organisms which attack plants. Duties also involve assisting in plant disease surveys. Work is assigned verbally and in writing by supervisory officers who review performance by field inspections and through analysis of reports submitted.
