Biomedical Technician I

The Biomedical Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of increasingly complex and specialized technical tasks in connection with installation, maintenance, calibration, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and management of various types of biomedical equipment throughout the Authority so as to facilitate the achievement of operations goals and objectives in accordance with international safety standards as well as manufacturer’s recommendation of proper use and timely service.

Medical Laboratory Technologist III

The incumbent supervises all blood bank laboratory activities. Work involves supervising and training of laboratory staff and providing technical assistance where necessary. Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and examinations on clients including but not limited to: abdominal, pelvic obstetrical and gynaecological, vascular examinations, cranial, musculoskeletal, small parts, breast, prostate, and fetal, on adult, paediatric & neonatal patients.
