Supervises officers involved in the registration of land titles and prepares reports for submission to the Solicitor General's Department. Ensures compliance with the Real Property Ordinance and other laws.

Functions include overseeing official functions, ensuring maintenance, and responding to fires and emergencies.

The incumbent assists in managing fire-fighting operations within an assigned division, commanding operations at major fires, and ensuring the readiness of fire stations and equipment.

The incumbent develops and monitors fire prevention and safety programs, supervises staff, investigates major fires, and ensures compliance with fire safety requirements in buildings.

The incumbent plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the Piarco Fire Station, specializing in aircraft and airport firefighting and other emergency situations, ensuring readiness of fire crews and equipment.

The incumbent manages the operations of the Police Band, ensuring the implementation of policies, conducting performances, arranging music, and performing general police duties.

The incumbent performs complex legal work, supervises attorneys and support staff, and oversees legal work related to the registration of deeds, real property, births, deaths, and marriages, ensuring compliance with laws.

The incumbent works as second in command in the efficient and effective operation of the Registries, taking decisions in the absence of the Registrar and presiding over the Registrar’s Court.
